Welcome to Mayfield Gospel Hall

Join us for our Sunday Gospel Meeting at 4:00 pm — everyone is warmly invited.

Home

We are an independent, non-denominational Christian assembly, devoted to worship, honour, and service of our Lord Jesus Christ. We meet in His name, following the simple pattern of New Testament church life — centred on systematic Bible teaching, prayer, and genuine fellowship. Our mission is to share the life-changing truth of Scripture and the message of salvation through Jesus Christ with our local community.

We believe that:

“Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was raised on the third day — all according to the Scriptures.”

-1 Corinthians 15:3-4

The Gospel – Good News for You

The gospel is the message of God’s love shown through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again. Forgiveness and eternal life are offered freely to all who believe in Him.

What is Sin?

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

- Romans 3:23

  ‏
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

- James 4:17

  ‏
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

- 1 John 3:4

Genesis

What is the meaning of 'The Cross'?

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

- Romans 3:23

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

- 2 Corinthians 5:21

John 3:16

Who is the Lord Jesus Christ?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

- John 14:6

  ‏
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

- Matthew 16:16

  ‏
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

- 1 Timothy 2:5

Who is the Lord Jesus Christ?

Who is God?

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

- Genesis 1:1

  ‏
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

- Colossians 1:16

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

- 1 John 4:8 (NKJV)

Who is God?

Why should this concern me?

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

- Isaiah 59:2

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

- Romans 6:23

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

- Hebrews 9:27-28

Ministry Meeting

How can I be saved?

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

- Ephesians 2:8-9

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

- 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

-Romans 10:9

How can we be saved?
